Membership
Attend 6 concerts for the price of 4!
You can become a member of the Hull Chamber Music Society by buying a season ticket. This is extremely good value as typically you save a third of the cost of the six concerts.
Members are also entitled to vote at the Society's annual general meeting.
| Full price | £48 |
| Senior | £44 |
| Student | £24 |
'Seniors' are people aged 65 years or over.
'Student' tickets are available to children (but see below), full-time students and people who are registered unwaged or registered disabled.
Children don't pay
Children of school age accompanying a paying adult in a family group are admitted free, regardless of whether the 'paying adult' has a single ticket or season ticket. Effectively this means that season ticket holders can bring their own children or grandchildren of school age to any concert and the children will be admitted free.
Talks are free
Admission to pre-concert talks is free to members and single ticket holders.

Friends of Hull Chamber Music
We have introduced this year a patrons scheme under the title Friends of Hull Chamber Music. For a donation (suggested minimum £10) you will become a Friend for the season. In return you will have the satisfaction of helping us maintain the high standard of our concerts.
Your help is especially important since Making Music (the National Federation of Music Societies), after changes in the way it is itself funded by Arts Council England, is no longer awarding annual revenue funding to its member societies. Last year our grant from Making Music represented more than 8% of our total income, a significant amount! This year we shall receive nothing.
Friends' names will be printed in our concert programmes unless they tell us that they would prefer to remain anonymous.
Gift Aid
Under the Government's Gift Aid scheme a registered charity can reclaim from HM Revenue and Customs income tax paid on donations. If you pay tax at the basic rate of 22% we can reclaim 28p for each £1 that you donate. Thus a donation of £10 is worth £12.80 to us.
If you would like to make a donation and become a Friend, please indicate as appropriate on the downloadable subscription form. To enable us to reclaim the tax you will also need to download and complete a Gift Aid Declaration.
Please note that the Gift Aid scheme applies only to donations; concert tickets (single or season) are classed as purchases, not donations.
